Remember when you learned to ski or ride?  Did your parents have you on snow as soon as you could walk or did you pick it up later in life?  Now with kids of your own, you’re looking for the best way to introduce them to the sport you love.  Kids Camp packages allow you to spend the day cruising the mountain or taking a lesson of your own while the kids learn to ski or snowboard in a safe and fun environment.

Weekdays, Kids Camp lessons are available for first time skiers and snowboarders to First Chair Lift. Weekends and Holidays, all levels of ability are available.

Remember when you learned to ski or ride?  Kids Camp packages allow you to spend the day taking a lesson of your own or spend the day cruising the more difficult terrain, while the kids learn to ski or snowboard in a program designed just for them.  Kids Camp is located in the Discovery Center at the Vernon Base area.

Kids Camp includes a SNOW Access ticket, lesson and rental (if necessary) for skiers and snowboarders age 4-12. Your child’s SNOW Access ticket and rental are valid for the remainder of the day. Check in is located at the Lesson check in tent at TBL schoolyard, located directly across the pedestrian footbridge from Cobblestone Village. Please come dressed and ready to go.

Please note: Kids Camp will be sold online only. Please purchase in advance to ensure availability for the time slots needed. Lessons are 2 hours long and run from 9am-4pm. Rentals are fulfilled through the Red Tail Lodge Rental Shop. Campers will be able to warm up and fuel up in the Discovery Center Building.

There is a 72-hour cancellation policy on all standard lessons. All refunds must be requested more than 72 hours prior to your scheduled lesson date and time. If you need to cancel within the 72 hour window, you will forgo the full refund and receive a 75% off discount to book another lesson time for another day.

Twisted Kid Fun Sessions are back! Join us every Sunday for 5-FREE coached terrain park sessions for intermediate skiers and snowboarders ages 6-16. These sessions run from January 21st – February 18th. On March 10th, there will be one final event to celebrate the progression in the park where parents can check out their new bag of tricks.

Sessions will take place in the hike park adjacent to the Magic Carpet in the Learning Area.

NEW this season – we’re kicking off with some new fun at Vern’s Outdoor Park where kids ages 4 & under can join Vern & his friends in a fun and engaging space built specifically for kids. Ages 4 & under can learn the basics of sliding sideways and snowboarding at a young age with extra small terrain park features built just for them.

Who? Ages 4 & Under, Must have SNOW Access Ticket or Pass to enter. Adults may enter with children as long as they have a Pass.
What? $20 for a 30 minute session with instruction & rental snowboard equipment included.
When? Saturday, Sunday & Holidays
Where? Learning Area at the Vernon Base

Sessions are 30 minutes; 15 minutes to gear up & 15 minutes on snow.

Please note, that this space is accessible for children with a SNOW Access Ticket or Pass. Children may enter the area, but instruction is only included when the Vern’s Outdoor Park Access is purchased.
