The Appalachian is the perfect overnight destination for visitors to Mountain Creek, offering slopeside accommodations right at the base of Vernon Peak. The Appalachian offers spacious studio, one- and two-bedroom units complete with kitchens, working fireplaces and mountainside views. Guests can enjoy our heated outdoor pool and hot tub, underground parking, and state-of-the-art fitness center.

Room Cancellation Policy:
Full payment is due at time of the reservation.
Non-Refundable bookings:
If you change or cancel your booking you will not get a refund or credit to use for a future stay. This policy will apply regardless of weather, resort closings or health and is subject to any local consumer laws.
Fully refundable 72 hours prior to stay bookings:
Cancel your reservation up to 72 hours prior to your stay and receive a full refund.
From 72 hours to 24 hours, you’ll be refunded for 50% of your stay plus taxes and fees.
Same day cancellations or no shows will not be refunded.
To cancel your reservation, please use the guest portal from your confirmation email.
Modifying Your Reservation:
You can modify your stay through the guest portal from your confirmation email. Please note that length of stay changes, date changes, as well as package changes in type or additions or subtractions may result in a rate change or additional fees.
Please note, as of December 2021 we are now a cashless resort. Please plan ahead as we no longer accept cash as a form of payment.
