Join us for a family-fun adventure at our new Snowtubing area, conveniently located in Cobblestone Village. View our map below for location.

Remember the fun of sleigh riding as a kid?  Yeah, it’s like that but only better. Gather your friends and family and experience our all-new tubing center. Race down the hill, then let our magic carpet whisk you back to the top.  All you have to do is just enjoy the ride!

SNOW Access Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable.

Please Note:

  • All riders must be at least 42″ ” to ride alone. Riders who are between 36″- 42″ must ride in a tandem tube or chain link with a responsible adult. Tandem tubes are first come, first serve.
  • All tubing sessions are 2 hours.
  • Only 1 guest per tube. Lap riding is not permitted.
  • We require advanced purchase reservations. There are no on-site ticket purchases.
  • Guests must park in North General Parking or Sandhill Lot. The entrance to our snowtubing experience is now located in the General Parking Lot.
  • SNOW Access Tickets will be redeemed at the pavillion entrance to the snow tubing hill.
  • Proper footwear is required. No ski boots.
  • Due to conditions changing, the tubing hill may close at any time or lanes may be slow.
  • Season Passholders can redeem their tubing visit on Thursdays and Fridays only (non-holiday) with a Snow Tubing ticketing Ambassador at the entrance of Snow Tubing.

FAQ’s

WHAT IS SNOWTUBING AND WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

  • It’s like sledding… only easier, no hiking back up the hill, and more fun!
  • Snowtubing brings out the kid in all of us. It’s the perfect group and family activity.
  • All riders must be at least 42″ ” to ride alone. Riders who are between 36″- 42″ must ride in a tandem tube or chain link with a responsible adult. Tandem tubes are first come, first serve.
  • All participants must ride in their own tube. No sharing. No exceptions.
  • Our team is on sight to assist and instruct guests with proper riding guidelines.
  • Guests must ride tube in seated position – no head first permitted.
  • Guests are permitted to link tubes together!
  • All participants must have a valid snow tubing ticket to get onto the magic carpet. No exceptions.

  • Snowtubing kicked off Opening Weekend on December 14th

WHERE IS TUBING LOCATED?

  • Our entrance is now located near Cobblestone Village in the Vernon General Parking Lot. Cobblestone Village is the collection of colorful buildings! Another landmark to look for is The Appalachian..our Tubing Hill is located across the street from here. If you park in our overflow lot down the street from our main parking lot, just follow the pathway up towards Cobblestone Village and into the General Parking Lot. If you are coming from the Red Tail Lodge, you will need to go across the footbridge. Once off the footbridge, continue ahead towards the General Parking Lot.

WHERE DO I PICK UP MY TICKETS?

  • All online tickets will be redeemed at the Snowtubing Hill entrance.
  • Please make sure to have your QR code ready either on your phone or printed out. Team Members in a green jacket will scan your ticket upon arrival.
  • If any guest in your party cannot attend, it will result in forfeiture of the ticket if not rescheduled before the date and time of your visit (see Snowtubing Cancellation Policy at button button).

CAN I COME AT ANY TIME DURING OPERATIONAL HOURS?

  • Reservations are required in advanced. You must purchase them online and are valid for the 2-hour session.

HOW DO I MAKE A RESERVATION?

  • You must make a reservation online in advanced. No tickets will be sold on-site.

IS TUBING AVAILABLE THROUGH ALL WEATHER CONDITIONS LIKE SNOW STORMS?

  • Daily operations may be delayed or suspended at any time due to variable conditions.

DO YOU OFFER ANY GROUP DISCOUNTS AND PRIVATE BOOKINGS?

  • We do not offer group discounts when we are open to the general public, but please visit https://mountaincreek.com/skiing-riding/groups/  for information on semi-private and private snow tubing dates and hours.  Advanced booking is required.

WHAT IS THE TUBING CANCELLATION POLICY?

  • Snowtubing all tickets are nonrefundable.
  • Snowtubing tickets can be rescheduled prior to 72 hours from your scheduled visit for a later date in the same season. If you would like to reschedule, please email info@mountaincreek.com.
  • Tickets cannot be rescheduled on site.
  • Any reservation not rescheduled by the reservation date and time will result in a forfeiture of the tickets.
  • Guests arriving late will not have their reservation time extended.

WHERE DO I PARK FOR TUBING?

  • Guests can park in the Vernon General Parking Lot…the large parking lot located across the street from The Appalachian. If you park in our overflow lot down the street from our main parking lot, just follow the pathway up towards Cobblestone Village and into the Vernon General Parking Lot.

WHAT DO I WEAR?

  • Warm clothing is highly suggested including but not limited to:
    • Winter Jacket
    • Hats
    • Gloves
    • Snow Pants
    • Snow Boots
    • Warm Socks
    • Layered Clothing under the Outerwear

IF I FORGET WARM CLOTHES ARE ITEMS AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE?

  • Yes! There are retail items available at Monkey Trails located at Red Tail Lodge. Please note, the Red Tail Lodge is about a 10-15 minute walk in an Alpine Environment. Please plan accordingly given your Snowtubing reservation time.
  • Current items for sale include: hats, gloves, hand warmers and lip balm.
  • Open fire pits are active during operating hours for guests to stay warm.

IS THERE ANY FOOD AND BEVERAGE OPTIONS AVAILABLE?

  • Yes, F&B operates a concession style food truck at the Snowtubing hill.
  • There are also food options located at the Red Tail Lodge located in the Vernon Base area.
  • We’ve gone cashless! All sales are through debit or credit cards. For those who bring cash we have a reverse ATM located on the first floor in the Red Tail Lodge.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

  • Snowtubing sessions are $39.99 for 2 hour time slots.
  • Tickets are non refundable, non transferable.

HOW MUCH TIME DO WE HAVE TO SNOW TUBE?

  • All sessions are 2 hours. Your time will start once your QR code is scanned.
  • A Team Member will scan your ticket at the lift to update you as to how much time is remaining in your session.

ARE THERE ANY SPECIFIC RIDING REQUIREMENTS?

  • Guests are not permitted to ride the Snowtube on their stomach. Guest must remain in a seated position.
  • Guests are not permitted to link tubes together after darkness falls.

DO YOU HAVE LOCKERS?

  • Lockers are not available at the Snowtubing hill. If you come with a backpack you may ride with it in your lap during your visit.

Dress Properly

Base Layers- Under your snow gear to keep you insulated. Sweat-wicking material is optimal. Neck Gaiter- A tube shaped fabric meant to be worn around the neck to protect from the sun and cold. Winter Socks- Tall socks that reach just below the knee. Labeled to keep your feet warm and able to breathe. Additional Layers- To go over the base layers for further insulation and warmth. Typically fleece. Winter Jacket/Snow Pants- Waterproof, insulated material. Available for Rent. Gloves/Mittens- Waterproof, insulated material.
